6th annual VegFest Kelowna Returns September 20, 2026
The largest plant-based community festival in the Okanagan welcomes food lovers, families, and the plant-curious to City Park

syilx / Okanagan Nation Territory / KELOWNA, B.C. — VegFest Kelowna returns to City Park (North field) in downtown Kelowna on Sunday, September 20, bringing together local businesses, food vendors, speakers, musicians, non-profit organizations, and community members for a celebration of plant-based living, sustainability, and community connection.

Now in its sixth year, VegFest Kelowna is the Okanagan’s largest plant-based community event, welcoming everyone from longtime vegans to those simply curious to explore more plant-based options. Hosted by Positively Vegan Society, the 2025 event attracted around 3,000 attendees.

“VegFest Kelowna is a celebration of vegan living, open to everyone. It’s a chance to be vegan for a day—to see it, taste it, and live it,” said Chelsea Travere, Managing Director of Positively Vegan and Event Manager for VegFest Kelowna.

“VegFest Kelowna brings together all aspects of vegan lifestyle: plant-based food, sustainability, and cruelty-free living,” she said. “You can share what you love with friends and find new favourites.”

This year’s festival includes:

50+ Vendors & Food Exhibitors: Local businesses, food vendors, educational organizations, and community groups showcasing a diverse range of food, products, services, and ideas designed to support healthier people, healthier communities, and a healthier planet.
Live Music, Speakers & Workshop: A stage with live music, educational speakers, and an interactive workshop.
Vegan Supply Meaty Draw: A vegan meat raffle, curated by Vegan Supply—a chance to win vegan meat bundles and raise money for future events.
Family Fun: Family activities throughout a full day of food trucks, local vendors, and live entertainment, with the Kids Zone and Games Fair hosted by EcoCooks.
Community Showcase: Opportunities to connect with non-profits and other community organizations working to improve health, sustainability, and animal rights.
Admission is by donation, with proceeds supporting future Positively Vegan VegFest events and other community events throughout British Columbia.
