<p>UCR Astronomy and UCLA EPSS (Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences) are co-hosting a virtual solar viewing event! During this online event, we will be observing the Sun through telescopes and learning more about its properties and impact on our home Earth. Topics to be covered include:Live view of the Sun (in different colors/wavelengths)Formation of the SunSurface features of the Sun, solar eclipseSolar activities and space weatherTips for solar viewing and learning more about the SunThis virtual event is free and open to the public.
