This May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and to celebrate we are hosting a workshop event to center an intentional space for self-care. Too often these days, people overlook their needs and continue to push forward with no moment for breaks and self-reflection. NAMI Washington is partnering with Doris Brevoort, PhD, LMT, to host an event for people to take the time to learn important healing practices that can help in their daily lives.Join us on Saturday, May 15, for an hour long presentation and workshop to learn about helpful exercises on breathing, laughing, and massaging our bodies and minds. There will be time after the presentation for a brief Q&A with Doris, where she can continue to share her expertise on healing. Everyone is welcome to join in this event of wellness exploration and stress relief. We hope to see you there!
