SAVE THE DATE!Join us for our third annual Wildfire Community Preparedness Day here at Apex Mountain Resort on Saturday July 16th, 2022.As the name suggests, the primary purpose for the day is to increase our community’s ability to survive a wildfire, primarily by reducing the fuel available for a fire to keep burning – and spreading. Secondarily, the exercise of planning, organizing, and carrying out this kind of work helps raise awareness among the general population, especially the Apex community members who live on or near the wildland-urban interface. In addition, working together to protect shared interests can help forge stronger bonds within a community, something that can be of enormous value, before, during, and after an emergency.Come down for a fun and informative day for the whole family.
