VERNON – The first provincially-approved cannabis retail store in the Okanagan is opening even sooner than anticipated.<\/p>\n
In a press release, store owners Sarah and Carson Ballantyne announced they're opening the Vernon-based Spiritleaf cannabis shop on Canada Day, July 1.<\/p>\n
"The end of prohibition is the start of something incredible in the Okanagan," the release said.<\/p>\n
The cannabis shop location is #102 2500 53 Avenue.<\/p>\n
Spiritleaf is a cannabis retail company with locations throughout western Canada. The release said the company's goal is to provide products and information related to recreational cannabis.<\/p>\n
