Two multi-million-dollar Okanagan prizes up for grabs in millionaire lottery

Winners of the latest Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Foundation Millionaire Lottery will have their pick to choose one of two gorgeous Okanagan homes worth millions.

Tickets for the Millionaire Lottery are on sale until midnight, Jan. 12, 2023, or until they sell out.

The lottery supports the hospital foundation and money raised will be used to fund innovative research, advancing specialized adult health care, and purchasing critical medical equipment at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver Community Health Services and Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, according to a press release issued by the foundation.

The winner of the Millionaire Lottery can choose one of 10 grand prize packages.

The first Kelowna package is worth more than $2.9 million. It includes a home at Knox Mountain Suite 401, 630 Boynton Place which is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom 1,150 square foot home. The package also includes a 2023 BMW iX xDrive50, a 2023 Hyundai Pallisade and $1.75 million cash.

The second Okanagan package is also worth more than $2.9 million. The home is located at The Waterfront at Westrich Bay Townhome Villa #1 or Townhome Villa #6, 1 Old Ferry Road, West Kelowna. This home is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom 2,701 sq. ft. apartment. The prize package also includes $10,000 cash for an EV Charger, 2023 fully electric BMW iX xDrive50, 2023 Crownline 200SS and $120,000 cash.

There are also packages to choose from in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island. The winner can also choose $2.7 million in tax-free cash.

Tickets are two for $100, five for $175, 10 for $300 and 25 for $600.

The lottery also includes extra games: the 50/50 PLUS lottery with a maximum prize payout up to $1,200,000 (depending on the number of tickets sold) and the Daily Cash PLUS game returns with 105 days of winning, with a value of all prizes being $310,000, according to the press release.

The Millionaire Lottery has been in operation since 1996 and has raised more than $77 million for VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation. Individuals can purchase their tickets online, by phone 604-602-5848, toll-free at 1-888-445-5825, or in person at any London Drugs starting Oct. 11.
