It was just three years ago that a house on Pixton Road in Lake Country sold for $12 million.

It’s on the market again for $22.9 million.

And it’s only a 10-minute walk from the most expensive home for sale in Canada.

The new listing is for a home at 12990 Pixton Rd. that was recently posted by Kirk Chamberlain, founder of Chamberlain Property Group in Penticton.

“Luxurious Tuscan retreat on Lake Okanagan in the peaceful rural community of Lake Country,” the listing says. “This exquisite 0.86 acre waterfront gated estate offers approximately 240 feet of Okanagan shoreline, 15,000 square feet of rich comfort – home, guest house and garages.

It has seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a 12-car garage.

It has a glass floor with a view into the wine cellar, movie theatre, games room, karaoke room and “breathtaking views of Okanagan Lake, peaceful vineyards and wineries from your ivy-covered tower will fill your soul.”

B.C. Assessment valued it at $13.6 million and says it was built in 2009.

It is 800 metres from 12391 Pixton Rd. a Jane Hoffman Realty listing for the $45.9 Waterside Farm that was originally priced at $55 million.

It’s a bit larger than the new listing.

The main residence is 20,306 square feet with a 4,163 square foot guest wing and a 1,820 square foot caretaker's residence on 8.55 acres with 850 feet of shoreline. It has eight bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.
