Kamloops Fall HomeShow brings renovation ideas and local makers under one roof

Homeowners planning a renovation, looking for new design ideas or hoping to discover local products will have plenty to explore when the Kamloops Fall HomeShow and Marketplace returns to Sandman Centre this weekend.

The two-day event will bring together more than 140 booths and over 50 artisans, creating a space where visitors can meet home improvement professionals, browse products and discover local businesses all in one place. The show runs October 17 and 18.

For anyone who has been putting off a home project, the event offers a chance to gather ideas and speak directly with businesses working in home improvement. Exhibitors will cover areas such as building, renovations, landscaping, interior upgrades and seasonal projects, giving visitors an opportunity to compare options and learn more about services available in the region.

Even those who are not ready to start a major renovation may find inspiration for smaller projects, new products or changes they want to make around the house.

The MarketPlace section adds another reason to browse, with more than 50 artisans and vendors offering locally made goods, gifts, home décor and other products.

Bringing home improvement businesses and independent makers together also gives local companies a chance to connect directly with residents. Visitors can ask questions, see products up close and make connections that may help with future projects.

The event is organized by BC Home Shows Ltd. and takes place at Sandman Centre, located at 300 Lorne Street in downtown Kamloops.

The show runs Saturday, October 17, from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, October 18, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Admission is free, and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
