The classic bargain pitch for a used car is that it’s a one-owner and only driven to church on Sundays.<\/p>\n

The same could almost be said for this Kelowna estate with three homes on it that is being sold by 92-year-old Calgary businessman Bill Roach.<\/p>\n

He had the main 7,800-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom house built in 1989 and still lives in it, making it a rare one-owner.<\/p>\n

Along with the main house, there’s a two-bedroom cottage and a one-bedroom boathouse on the 5.4 acre property at 245 Swick Road, south of Bellevue Creek Regional Park.<\/p>\n

Billed as “incredibly private” by listing realtor Richard Deacon of Engel and Volkers Okanagan, it comes with a 1.25-acre vineyard that produces 130 cases of wine a year from its Merlot and Chardonnay grapes.<\/p>\n

Its 355-feet of Lake Okanagan waterfront includes a sandy beach.<\/p>\n

While the $9 million price tag may seem high, if it sells it won't be the most expensive home to sell in the Interior of B.C.<\/p>\n

While realtors don't keep listings of the most expensive homes sold, B.C. Assessment did show that a home at 12990 Pixton Rd. in Lake Country sold for $12 million in 2019. That was a larger house, with five bedrooms and 6.75 bathrooms covering 13,174 square feet but it sits on a much smaller lot, at a mere 0.86 acres.<\/p>\n

An 11,000 square foot, six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home at 4800 Lakeshore Road sold for $11.33 million in February. It sits on 17.8 acres.<\/p>\n
