That was the decrease in rent prices for a one-bedroom apartment in Kelowna over the last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1,686:<\/strong> Dollars is the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Kelowna.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5.4: <\/strong>Per cent. That was the increase in rent prices for a one-bedroom apartment in Kamloops over the last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1,992: <\/strong>Dollars is the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Kamloops.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5.2:<\/strong> Per cent. That was the decrease in the average rent price in B.C. over the last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2,067:<\/strong> Dollars is the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in B.C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2:<\/strong> Per cent. That was the national average rent drop over the last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>16:<\/strong> That\u2019s how many consecutive months Canada has seen a decrease in the average rent price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>857: <\/strong>Square feet is the average size of a rental listing, which is down from 943 square feet two years ago.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2.46: <\/strong>Dollars per square foot is the average cost for renting, which is actually up from $2.39 two years ago. Shrinkflation isn\u2019t just fewer cookies in a packet, it\u2019s smaller apartments too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These numbers show a small step toward clawing
