Up to 25 cm of snow expected on the Coquihalla

A snowfall warning has been issued for the Coquihalla between Merritt and Hope, where 20 to 25 centimetres of snow is in the forecast.

It's expected to accumulate between tonight, Feb. 12, and tomorrow night, according to the warning issued by Environment Canada.

"A series of disturbances will bring periods of heavy snow to Coquihalla Highway – Hope to Merritt from this evening to Monday night," the warning says. "Snow will taper off early Tuesday morning when a ridge of high pressure moves in."
