Drivers will notice winter weather in Kamloops and the Okanagan this morning but so far no major traffic issues today, Nov. 10.
Nevertheless, drivers are reminded to prepare for winter driving conditions with temperatures expected to remain low over the coming days.
“…slow down on the roads in anticipation of icy patches,” the City of Penticton said in a new release from Nov. 9.
Travellers who can make use of Highway 8 between Merritt and Spences Bridge use travel through it again, as B.C.'s Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure announced yesterday it has reopened after it was damaged by slides and flooding last year.
This story will be updated if traffic issues occur through the day. Anybody with traffic news from the Southern Interior is welcome to share it with this reporter.
