‘Highway Thru Hell’ star in multi-vehicle collision

Highway Thru Hell star Jamie Davis was working on a long-haul tow when he was in a collision on Highway 5 yesterday morning.

The multi-vehicle collision was weather-related, but no one was injured at the scene just outside Avola, B.C., according to a news release from production company Great Pacific Media.

No production crews were at the collision scene in the early morning of Jan. 8, according to the release.

"Davis would like to thank emergency responders who attended the site and the series' fans for their expression of concern," it reads.

The highway was closed in both directions by 8:30 a.m., later opening to alternating traffic yesterday afternoon, according to DriveBC.
