

A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a vehicle while scooting around a Kelowna neighbourhood this past weekend.
Kelowna RCMP officers are investigating the hit and run which occurred Saturday, Oct. 29, at roughly 3:10 p.m., according to police in a news release.
The incident involved a vehicle colliding with the 59-year old man who was riding an electric scooter near the intersection of Lewis Road and Gardner Road in the Black Mountain area. The man suffered "significant injuries and is in a local hospital," according to police.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be smaller and possibly green in colour.
Police are asking for the driver to step forward along with the assistance of anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have dash cam video footage around the time the incident occurred.
