UPDATE: Highway 5 north of Kamloops reopens following crash

Highway 5 north of Kamloops has reopened after it was closed overnight due to a vehicle incident.

Drive B.C. initially reported the road's closure south of Little Fort yesterday, June 15, between Allen-Meeker Road and Thuya Creek Road.

A detour was in effect via Highway 24. The highway reopened this morning, June 16.
