Men sent to hospital after ATV crash in Okanagan

Two men were sent to the hospital Saturday when the all-terrain vehicle they were driving flipped.

The Central Okanagan Search and Rescue team was called May 29, in the afternoon to help B.C. Emergency Health Services in evacuating two men that were injured in the crash just off of Postil Lake Road in the Central Okanagan.

The men were driving a side-by-side ATV when it somehow flipped, according to a press release from search and rescue.

Other riders in the group managed to remove the two men from the wrecked machine. 

Both sustained various injures and had to be removed from the scene with the use of the rescue group's UTV. 

The injured males were transported to waiting ambulances and then taken to Kelowna General Hospital.  Twelve COSAR members attended the scene to assist.

It was COSAR's thirty-third event of this year, according to the press release.
