iN VIDEO: Kelowna shopper caught on camera scratching Tesla

A shopper at the Costco in Kelowna was recorded scratching — or attempting to scratch — a Tesla.

Drive Tesla, an unaffiliated account, posted a video to X.com of someone walking past a Tesla and briefly scratching it.

The video was posted after Tesla opened up a new dealership in Kelowna.

The car was in sentry mode which can save footage of “suspicious activity”, alert drivers to jerky movement around their car while it’s parked, and sound the car’s alarm.

“Think of Sentry Mode as an intelligent vehicle security system that alerts you when it detects possible threats nearby,” Tesla said on its site.
