A multi-vehicle crash has closed the southbound lanes of the Coquihalla Highway south of the summit.<\/p>\n
DriveBC says an assessment is underway at the crash location around three kilometres south of the Coquihalla Summit between the Great Bear Snowshed and the Zopkios Rest Area.<\/p>\n
Expect major delays due to traffic congestion.<\/p>\n
Detours are available via Highway 5A and Highway 3 and drivers are advised to watch for traffic control.<\/p>\n
No word if anyone was injured in the crash or when the southbound lanes of Highway 5 will reopen.<\/p>\n
