DriveB.C. is advising motorists<\/a> to watch for slippery sections.<\/p>\n Highway 3 may be slippery in sections between Keremeos and Grand Forks, which are 172 km apart.<\/p>\n Highway 5 may be slippery between the Portia and Coldwater Road exits, which are 50 kilometres apart.<\/p>\n Highway 5A may have slippery sections for 62 km between the start of the highway the Highway 97C junction.<\/p>\n Charles Andrews, who commutes from Armstrong to Sicamous everyday via on Highway 97a, said the road was bare and dry the entire way.<\/p>\n It’s the second day of the season at Big White Ski Resort, which got 75 centimetres of snow over the past 24 hours, according to the resort’s daily snow report<\/a>. There are three lifts open and 12 runs. The condition of the runs are packed and groomed, and the skies are clear.<\/p>\n In today’s weather forecast, Kamloops<\/a> is in for a high of -6 Celsius and low of -10. Vernon<\/a> is expected to see a high of -3 and low of -6.
