One person is dead and another has been rushed to hospital following a collision on Highway 5 north of Kamloops.<\/p>\n
According to a B.C. Highway Patrol media release, the crash involved two commercial vehicles and a pickup and took place near Louis Creek, about 60 kilometres north of Kamloops.<\/p>\n
Highway 5 is currently closed in both directions following the crash that took place at about noon today, Feb. 9.<\/p>\n
Officers from Barriere, Clearwater and B.C. Highway Patrol in Kamloops responded to the crash which has now been passed to B.C. Highway Patrol for investigation.<\/p>\n
"At this point in the investigation there is no indication of any criminality as a contributing factor," the release says.<\/p>\n
