The World Tour of Freestyle Motocross is making a stop Penticton.<\/p>\n

The FMX, event will showcase athletes on motorcycles performing acrobatic manoeuvres after launching off ramps, according to a media release from the South Okanagan Events Centre.<\/p>\n

“Fans can expect to see death-defying stunts, such as backflips, 360s, and whip tricks, as riders soar high in the air and push the limits of what's possible on two wheels,” the release says.<\/p>\n

Riders will be in competition for the championship title during the main event, and there will also be exhibition runs and a trick contest. <\/p>\n

The event takes place March 25 at the at the events centre. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. through ValleyFirstTix.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prices range from $20 to $45 for adults and children 12 and under are $10, plus fees.<\/p>\n
