The main highway between the Central and South Okanagan will be shut down for an hour this afternoon.<\/p>\n
DriveB.C.<\/a> is advising motorists that Highway 97 will be closed in both directions north of Summerland, between Bridgeman Road and North Beach Road, from 1 to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n A highway cam<\/a> shows traffic already backed up at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n Blasting is the reason for the closure.
