The Trans-Canada Highway near Lytton is closed due to a mudslide.<\/p>\n
Drive B.C. is reporting the mudslide along Highway 1 between the Highway 12 and Highway 8 junctions for 35 kilometres, from Spences Bridge to Lytton. The incident was originally reported last night by social media users.<\/p>\n
A detour is not available and a slope assessment is being conducted today, Aug. 11, according to Drive B.C.<\/p>\n
Photos of the scene shared around social media show a semi-truck in the mud.<\/p>\n
