Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt and from Merritt to Kamloops. There's also a freezing rain warning for the Okanagan Connector<\/a> between Merritt and Kamloops.<\/p>\n DriveBC<\/a> said ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring in several locations including: South Thompson, Nicola, Similkameen, Fraser Canyon – north of Boston Bar, and the southwest interior mountain passes, particularly east of Allison Pass and north of Coquihalla Summit.<\/p>\n It said travel is not recommended unless essential.<\/p>\n To contact a reporter for this story, email Kelly Hayes<\/a> or call 250-864-7494 or email the editor<\/a>.
