A North Vancouver man has some explaining to do after getting caught going 130 km\/h in a 80 zone in his mom’s Lamborghini on Highway 3 near Princeton earlier this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver of the grey Lamborghini Gallardo was pulled over on June 1 going 40km\/h over the posted speed limit which earned him an automatic vehicle impound, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Aug. 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe driver said he was on his way to a racetrack. Had he driven more responsibly, he could have had a great day at the track. Instead, he had an awkward conversation with mom,” BC Highway Patrol media relations officer Cpl. Michael McLaughlin said in the release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 26-year-old driver was faced with a bill of more than $2,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
