TORONTO \u2014 Toronto police say a man in his 20s has died after he was hit by a vehicle, lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into a parked car.<\/p>\n
Officers were called Sunday afternoon to the area of Danforth Avenue and Byng Avenue in the city’s east end.<\/p>\n
They say the 21-year-old was riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle when he was hit by a Toyota Highlander that was turning left.<\/p>\n
Police say the motorcycle went out of control and smashed into the parked car.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries, while the driver of the Toyota remained at the scene.<\/p>\n
Insp. Errol Watson told reporters Sunday it’s too early to speculate whether speed played a role in the crash.<\/p>\n
