Drivers can expect slippery roads on the Interior highways today.<\/p>\n
DriveB.C. is reporting Highway 1 <\/strong>has slippery sections from Jackass Mountain Summit to Spences Bridge; Highway 3<\/strong> has slippery sections between Princeton to Hedley, and from Keremeos to Grand Forks; Highway 5A<\/strong> has slippery sections between Princeton and where it interests with Highway 97; all of Highway 12<\/strong> has slippery sections; and Highway 97C<\/strong> has slippery sections throughout.<\/p>\n And watch out for wild horses if you're travelling along Apex Mountain Road today, DriveB.C. advises.<\/p>\n Charles Andrews commutes from Armstrong to Sicamous via Highway 97A, and reports the roads are mostly bare albeit wet.<\/p>\n He saw a mouse or rat cross the road near Mara.<\/p>\n “So watch for wildlife,” he said.<\/p>\n In weather, it's going to be an overcast day, according to Environment Canada. Temperatures in Kamloops<\/a> will go from -7 Celsius to -5 C today, and back to -7 C tonight. In Vernon<\/a> and Kelowna<\/a>, both cities will start the day off at -4 and drop to -8 C by tonight. Penticton<\/a> will go from -4 C to -2 C and back to -4 C tonight.<\/p>\n At the ski hills, Big White Mountain Resort<\/a> is reporting no new snow but 15 centimetres over the past week and a snowpack of 99 cm.
