A 23-year-old Penticton woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 3 east of Osoyoos this past weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A grey older model Chevrolet Colorado equipped with a boat rack and ladder left the highway near Hewitt Road crashed at around 4:20 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Sept. 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 23-year-old woman died while being transported to hospital in Kelowna. The other person in the vehicle was treated for injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RCMP say alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances that lead to the fatal collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyone who witnessed the collision, observed the vehicle’s driving behaviour or has dash camera footage of the grey Chevrolet Colorado between 3 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 19, is asked to call the BC Highway Patrol in Keremeos at 250-499-2250.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
