A vehicle incident on the Coquihalla Highway between Merritt and Hope has caused a lane closure and major traffic delays this afternoon.<\/p>\n

The collision happened earlier today, Jan. 8, northbound between Exit 238 (Juliet Road) and Exit 250 (Larson Hill) about 30 kilometres north of the Coquihalla Summit and has led to a lane closure and heavy traffic, according to DriveBC.<\/p>\n

Delays of up to one hour are expected. Drivers are being asked to watch out for emergency vehicles.<\/p>\n
