DriveB.C. is warning travellers that some Interior highways may be snowy and slippery this morning.<\/p>\n
There are slippery sections and compact snow on Highway 1 between Spences Bridge and Kamloops, Highway 5 from the Great Bear Snowshed to Kamloops, Highway 8 from Spences Bridge to Merritt, Highway 97C from Merritt to Highland Valley Copper Mine and all of Highway 97D.<\/p>\n
Also, Highway 97 may have slippery sections between Coldstream and Vernon.<\/p>\n
Environment Canada reports Kamloops<\/a> will start the day with a low of -14 C, warm to -11 C, then drop back to -14 C. Vernon's day<\/a> starts off at -13 C and warms to -8 C before dropping to -12 C. Kelowna<\/a> will warm up from -10 C to -8 C before dipping to -12 C tonight and Penticton’s day<\/a> will start at -7 C and slightly warm to -6 C. There is a chance of flurries this morning thought the region.<\/p>\n For anyone heading to the hill today, Big White Ski Resort<\/a> got 10 centimetres of new snow in the last 12 hours, and a total of 66 cm over the past week.
