Penticton’s craft beer scene especially struck gold at the B.C. Beer Awards and Festival, returning for its 11th year Nov. 5 at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver.<\/p>\n
Cannery Brewing won gold for its Thornless Blackberry Porter in the Fruit Beer category, Abandoned Rail Brew Co. won with its Marzen in the Amber Lager category, Tin Whistle Brewing Company won the Spice Beer category with its One Piece Wonder and Slackwater Brewing won for best packaging design and best handle design.<\/p>\n
