Seattle's most famous coffee company is opening a new location in the North Okanagan.<\/p>\n
Starbucks confirmed a new coffee shop will open next month in Armstrong’s downtown, according to an email from director of public affairs Carly Suppa.<\/p>\n
Although Suppa didn’t confirm the location or give a specific opening date, applications are being accepted for baristas and supervisors for a Starbucks on 3060 Smith Drive in the town.<\/a><\/p>\n In 2020, Starbucks closed roughly 200 Canadian locations<\/a>, including one in downtown Kelowna<\/a>, in order to restructure the company.<\/p>\n Unionization among Canadian Starbucks employees is also gaining traction.
