A Kamloops pub’s decision to rename a few of its drinks after Russia invaded Ukraine is getting positive feedback.<\/p>\n
Duffy’s Neighbourhood Pub announced Feb. 27 on its Facebook page that it changed the name of its "razzberrry Moscow mule" to a "razzberry Kyiv mule," after Ukraine’s capital and from black and white Russians to black and white Ukrainians<\/p>\n
Bartender Ryanne Calver said it was originally the owner’s idea and the Kyiv mule has been a hit.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
“They’ve just been super popular,” she said, adding she’s made 15 in the last day.<\/p>\n
“I think they just support it, that’s why they’re ordering them,” she said. “I think the sign makes them giggle."<\/p>\n
People have also been enjoying them as the spring brings warmer weather, she said.<\/p>\n
Russia invaded Ukraine Feb. 24, prompting an international response. Canada has placed sanctions on Russia following the attack.<\/p>\n
