If you were planning to check out the floating barge bistro on Okanagan Lake this summer, you just missed your chance. <\/p>\n

The Bulldog Okanagan Lake Bistro in Vernon was briefly open for private gatherings this month, but has now closed for the season. <\/p>\n

Operations manager Oscar Carreira said they will be finishing up construction in the off-season before re-opening for the public in late spring, 2021.<\/p>\n

The Bulldog Okanagan Lake Bistro is the sister location to The Bulldog Grand Cafe<\/a> at Silver Star Mountain Resort in Vernon.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The bistro is a collaboration between Carreira, the Bulldog’s executive chef Tyler Lafferty and the barge's owner Devin Seymour.<\/p>\n

The floating barge is parked near Paddlewheel Park in Vernon, but the bistro may eventually move closer to a location closer to Westside Road, Carreira said.<\/p>\n
