It\u2019s almost fall and that means pumpkin spice flavoured drinks and goodies, and local businesses in Kamloops and the Okanagan are getting into the spirit of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iNFOnews.ca found some interesting and delicious treats to try out like pumpkin spice gelato, cake pops and coffees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blackwell Dairy has their seasonal pumpkin spice eggnog on shelves in markets and stores throughout the Thompson-Okanagan<\/a> and at their farm location at 7000 Blackwell Road in Kamloops<\/strong>. The cold and smooth festive beverage is made from whole milk from the cows on the farm and flavoured with natural ingredients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homemade pumpkin spice gelato is available at Via Lattea Gelato <\/a>in Kamloops<\/strong>, along with some other newly whipped up flavours to celebrate the fall season along with more than 30 flavours of ice cream. The locally owned business is located at 622 Tranquille Road. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in historic downtown Armstrong<\/strong>, PV BLVD Coffee is serving up house-made pumpkin spice syrup to be enjoyed in lattes, London fogs and any favourite drink to add a seasonal flavour twist. The syrup is made with real pumpkin so it doesn\u2019t have an artificial taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The small restaurant is serving pumpkin loaf this week and pumpkin spiced cinnamon buns on some Saturdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe pumpkin loaf has cream cheese icing with some pumpkin seeds on top,\u201d said employee Hailey Ogloff. \u201cPumpkin spice treats help bring in the fall season and add to our cosey atmosphere.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okanagan Cake Pops in Vernon<\/strong> makes custom cake pops and have been at local farmers markets all summer. The bakers are focussed on custom orders with their newest flavour being pumpkin spice. Orders can be made through the Okanagan Cake Pops Instagram. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumpkin spice cheesecake cups and salted caramel pumpkin spice cheesecakes are available at Gratify, a vegan caf\u00e9<\/a> in Penticton<\/strong>. This local business offers sweet and savoury foods that aren\u2019t just tasty but nutritious too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe pumpkin cups are a seasonally spiced cookie dough crumble which is loaded with nutritious ingredients, filled with a tangy cashew-based cheesecake batter to balance the different flavours and textures,\u201d said Gratify co-owner Ryan Oickle. \u201cOur cashew-based cheesecakes are very popular this time of year as we approach Thanksgiving.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pumpkin spice cheesecake cups are an annual favourite treat available for drop-in customers for a limited time at the caf\u00e9 at 544 Main Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
