Wine Wednesday: Kalala Rosé<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because this is the perfect time of year to drink pink, we have another rosé feature for you to sample.<\/p>\n

West Kelowna is home to one of our premier organic wineries, Kalala Organic Estate Winery. The name Kalala translates to ‘miracle place’, a wonderful name to describe this organic haven. Kalala is a great example of how amazing organic wines taste.<\/p>\n

Winemaker Tibby Erdelyi and owner Karnail Singh Sidhu decided to make a rosé after much deliberation. And it is a beauty! The lovely pink hue of this inviting wine offers aromas of strawberry, raspberry, lemon zest and honeysuckle. On the palate, there are notes of strawberry, watermelon and lemon. It is a delicious mouthful of flavor and the fresh acidity makes it great food wine. It is a blend of 65 per cent Gewurztraminer, 20 per cent, Zweigelt, 10 per cent Pinot Noir and five per cent Merlot and is a great price at the winery for $22. #roseallday<\/p>\n
