UPDATE: Medical patient located thanks to public tip

UPDATE 10 A.M., MAY 13, 2015

In a media release issued May 13, Vernon RCMP say Robert Parker has been located safe and sound following a tip from the public. 

5:05 P.M., MAY 12, 2015

VERNON – Police are asking for the public’s aid in locating a missing man.

Robert Parker, 58, left a medical facility on May 12 without completing his treatment, the Vernon RCMP report in a media release. Police are requesting assistance finding him so he can receive necessary medical attention. 

Parker is described as Caucasian with a slim build, 6' tall, and balding with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red vest and earth-toned fleece pants.
   
Police recommend you do not approach him but ask that you call the RCMP at 250- 545-7171 or 9-1-1, quoting file number 2015-9454, if he is located.
