30th Annual Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

Caroline Grover, CEO of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, announced today that the Kelowna Chamber is hosting its 30th annual Golf Tournament at Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club, presented by Costco Wholesale.

“This is the thirtieth year for fun and business networking for our members and non-members alike,” said Grover.  And we’re back at one of the members’ favourite courses in the valley – where there are so many great choices – Sunset Ranch. We’re looking forward to a day of sunshine, business connections, great golf, wonderful prizes from our sponsors and members, and a terrific dinner.”

“Everyone knows that some of the best business deals are forged and sealed on the golf course,” said Grover.

President’s Circle members are sponsoring a terrific Dream Staycation with golf, hotel, spa, winery visits and more. Golfers get a chance to win a WestJet trip; there are two Hole-in-One prizes of $10,000 and one for $5,000, courtesy of our sponsors – and Costco will make sure everyone has a great send-off on hole number one with some yummy snacks.

There are games, gifts and giveaways on hole after hole on the course.  Anyone registering before May 20th is entered into a draw for a free round of golf for a foursome including cart courtesy of Sunset Ranch.

There is a putting contest hosted by TD Benefits with a beer-stuffed fridge as grand prize; golfers can “beat the Pro” (young Jason McKinlay, a hot young pro just transferred to the BC PGA from Alberta); and beverage tastings from Big Surf and Summerhill Wines, among others.

The shotgun goes off at 1pm on Friday May 29 at Sunset Ranch.
