OTTAWA – A by-the-numbers look at the Canadian Forces report on military suicides in 2015, released Wednesday:
14: Suicides involving men serving full-time in 2015
64.3: Percentage of that total who had more than one mental health injury or disorder
78.6: Percentage who had accessed more than one type of health service, including primary health care, mental health assistance or addiction counselling
1: Suicides involving women serving full-time in 2015
3: Suicides involving reservists in 2015
253: Suicides involving full-time service members between 1995 and 2015
197: Suicides involving full-time service members between 2000 and 2015
158: Canadian Forces personnel killed in Afghanistan between 2001 and 2014
