Wolfpack’s Greg Worthington out for the season, needs knee reconstruction

Toronto Wolfpack centre Greg Worthington is out for the season after suffering knee ligament damage in the transatlantic rugby league team’s win over Rochdale on the weekend.

Worthington injured his anterior cruciate ligament “and possibly more,” said coach Paul Rowley.

Blake Wallace will sit out Saturday’s game against Featherstone Rovers after damaging his ribs in the 52-10 victory over Rochdale. He is expected to be back in time for next month’s Qualifiers playoffs which will determine whether Toronto wins promotion to the top-tier Super League.
