Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Up two cents, or 1.17 per cent, to $1.73 on 22.9 million shares.

Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX:CG). Miner. Up 31 cents, or 4.63 per cent, to $7.01 on 16.7 million shares.

Guyana Goldfields Inc. (TSX:GUY). Miner. Up 14 cents, or 1.51 per cent, to $9.40 on 14.9 million shares.

Hydro One Ltd. (TSX:H). Utilities. Up 18 cents, or 0.74 per cent, to $24.50 on 12.3 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down 18 cents, or 2.82 per cent, to $6.21 on 11.5 million shares.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Drugs, health-care products. Down 65 cents, or 2.24 per cent, to $28.40 on 2.1 million shares. Valeant announced it will expand its Canadian manufacturing and export capacity by spending a total of $27.5 million on plants in Manitoba and Quebec. The plant in Steinbach, Man., will receive $15 million by the end of this year. Valeant will also spend $12.5 million on its plant in Laval, Que., where the company’s headquarters is located.
