Design for Ethel St. Active Transportation Corridor on display

The public is invited to an information session to view the design and construction details for the first phase of the Ethel Street Active Transportation Corridor between Saucier and Bernard avenues. This project was identified in the 2020 Capital Plan for completion and preliminary design was completed last year.

When: Tuesday June 2, 4 – 6:30 p.m.
Where: Knowles Park, 856 Bernard Ave.

This $1.7-million investment on Ethel Street will include a separated “cycle track” on both sides of the road, new sidewalks, landscaping and utilities improvements.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June and completion is anticipated by October.
