SAVANNAH, Ga. – Hugh Jackman and Emily Blunt are among the stars being awarded at the 21st annual SCAD Savannah Film Festival.
The Savannah Morning News reports that Jackman will receive the Savannah College of Art and Design festival’s Legend of Cinema Award; Blunt, its Icon Award.
Also being recognized are Maggie Gyllenhaal with the Outstanding Achievement in Cinema Award for Acting and Producing; Armie Hammer with the Outstanding Achievement in Cinema Award; Stephan James and KiKi Layne, the Discovery Award; John Krasinski, the Vanguard Award; Shailene Woodley, the Spotlight Award; and Amandla Stenberg with the Rising Star Award.
A total of 164 films, including 33 narrative films, 16 documentary films and 115 shorts, will be screened from Oct. 27 through Nov. 3 in what SCAD calls the nation’s largest university-run film festival.
