Is this your diamond ring? RCMP looking for owner

VERNON – RCMP are trying to find the owner of a diamond ring found in downtown Vernon earlier this month.

Police say the ring was found near Community Futures on 33 Street during the first week of May and was turned into the RCMP detachment in Lake Country.

“Police records indicate the ring does not appear to have ever been reported lost or stolen and all efforts to identify the owner have been exhausted,” Const. Kris Clark says in a media release. “Investigators are now turning to the public for assistance.”

The ring is 14 karat yellow gold, with seven parallel rows containing three clear white diamonds for a total of 21 stones. The rows are aligned in a stepped formation towards the centre of the crown.
