Officer’s 3-year-old son accidentally shoots, kills himself

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – Authorities say the 3-year-old son of a Steamboat Springs police officer is dead after he accidentally shot himself at the family’s home.

Steamboat Today reports (http://goo.gl/foVFzU ) the boy, whose name hasn’t been released, was with his parents at their home in the Stagecoach area when he was shot Thursday morning.
