TORONTO – Emerging tastemaker Jessica Mulroney is taking on a bigger role at Hudson’s Bay Co.
The Canadian retailer says the stylist and fashion expert will be the spokeswoman for a new brand launching in the fall called CORE Life.
That’s in addition to Mulroney’s other roles in consulting, public relations, social media, and events.
Mulroney first joined Hudson’s Bay Co. (TSXL:HBC) in 2014 to help launch the Toronto outpost of the New York-based designer boutique Kleinfeld Bridal. She’s also a contributing editor at “Wedding Vacations” magazine from the travel company Sunwing, and regularly outlines style trends on City TV’s “Cityline” series.
Mulroney is also known for her association with royal bride-to-be Meghan Markle, who she reportedly befriended during the actress’s seven-season run on the Toronto-shot series “Suits.”
Celebrity watchers have dubbed her the secret wedding planner for Markle and Prince Harry, who are set to wed at Windsor Castle on May 19.
