Three Days Grace announces Kelowna concert date
KELOWNA – Canadian rockers Three Days Grace will play Prospera Place in Kelowna as part of the band’s 15-city Canadian tour that kicks off July 3 in Toronto.
The platinum-selling group will stop in Kelowna on Tuesday, Nov. 24, to promote their new album HUMAN.
Three Days Grace exploded onto the scene in 2003 with what critiques described as hard hitting, honest and hypnotic anthems.
The band has a new lead singer, Matt Walst.
“When Matt joined the band last year, there was not a fleeting moment that we didn’t think we would forge ahead,” drummer Neil Sanderson says in a media release. “Life is all about chapters. Matt’s first show was in front of 8,000 people on a co-headliner with Shinedown, and he came out guns blazing. He brought this fiery new energy to the band. We never looked back.”
Halestorm will be opening for the band for most of the tour, including the Kelowna date.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 5, at 10 a.m., and are available online at Select Your Tickets, by phone at 250-762-5050 or at the Prospera Place Box Office.
Tickets will set you back $39.50 and $42.50 plus service charges.
