Heavy rains cause mudslide impacting Highway 33

KELOWNA – Police are warning traffic near Highway 33 at the McKenzie Road turnoff to watch out for machinery cleaning up a mudslide.

Const. Steve Holmes says heavy rains caused the slide and debris washed down from the north slope, partially blocking the turnoff. City crews are on scene.
