TORONTO – “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah will be returning to Toronto this fall as a headliner for the Just for Laughs JFL42 comedy festival.
The fifth annual event will feature eight headliners performing at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts from Sept. 22 to Oct. 1.
Joining Noah are Roseanne Barr, Jim Gaffigan, Jim Jefferies, Anthony Jeselnik, Tig Notaro, Demetri Martin and Chris D’Elia. Noah was also a headliner last year.
A new addition to this year’s event is the daytime programming series ComedyCon, which will include cast panels, “In Conversations” with headliners, and special podcasts.
Other notable attendees include American comedian and actress Margaret Cho, Maria Bamford of Netflix series “Lady Dynamite,” and Craig Robinson of the U.S. reboot of “The Office” and “Hot Tub Time Machine” fame.
Passes to JFL42 go on sale Friday, and tickets go on sale June 10.
