Two charged with first-degree murder in case of missing man from Mission, B.C.

SURREY, B.C. – The RCMP say charges have been laid in the death of a man who went missing six years ago in Mission, B.C.

Insp. Donna Richardson says Joshua Bowe was 21 years old when he disappeared in November 2010.

She says two men have been charged with first-degree murder in the case and one has also been charged with accessory after the fact in the death.

Richardson says the men were both youths at the time of Bowe’s death, so they cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

She says the victim and the men knew each other.

Police have not released how Bowe died, or when and where his remains were found.
